Dormice

The hazel dormouse is the only dormouse native to the British Isles. Quiet, shy creatures often the only way to tell that there are dormouse in your woods is by finding the hazel shells withe the distinctively nibbled round holes. You can see these nibbled hazel nuts on my dormouse design - so now you know what to keep an eye out for when you're walking through your local deciduous woods.
