The Story Behind my New Tricks Dogs Design

I like to rework my dogs design every couple of years - a bit of a change of colour, a few new dogs- but they always feature actual dogs that I know and always my Tessa and my mum's Mollie. 

If you know me or my friends/family you may recognise some of the dogs featured.

The mitts feature Tessa my black and tan shorty haired sausage dog- which is timely as this story is going live just before National Dachshund Day - 21 June I am reliably informed.

Scattered across the rest of the design are friends and family member's dogs from across the years including Ralph the Saluki who was our ever so enthusiastic next door neighbour when the pixies were small, Ernie the pug, CC the - well CC is a bit of a mixer upper - great with kids although she has no idea what you expect her to do with a ball or with a stick - but she does have plans for your cheese if you happen to drop any. 

This 2026 update comes on transformative teal (colour of summer 2026 don't-you-know: I didn't -  i just like teal!)
