The Story behind my Otters Design

As a very young child I distinctly remember being taken to a wildlife reservation in the hope of seeing otters.

I didn't see any otters but I did get my welly stuck in some mud (70's baby horror of quicksand trauma) and getting mud all over my bootless socked foot and everyone laughing at me. I remember wondering why they were laughing instead of helping - so if my otters remind us to help others in need that would be a lovely side quest for them!

I did eventually see some real life otters in the wild only about 6 years later when we moved home to an otter hotspot in west wales. I was lucky enough to see many over the few years we lived there and am so grateful to have had the chance to witness these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.

With all that history otters could not be left out of my British Wildlife collection I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
