Want to ditch that neutral palette but not quite ready for the maximalist look?
I understand that it can be daunting when you first start to experiment with adding colour to your life and your home.
You may not have the option to paint your walls or you may not be ready to commit to large eclectic gallery walls and collections of knick-knacks.
This is where textiles can be the perfect solution- add a pop of colour to any neutral space - and if you decide you want the beige look back you can always keep it in the drawer after all!
Here's 5 quick ways to add a pop of colour to your home:
1. Drape some colourful oven gloves over your oven door handle to add an instantly eye catching feature to often the most neutral room in your home
2. Line the fruit bowl on the dining table with a bright colourful organic cotton tea towel - it will look great however much fruit is in there
3. Fold a tea towel in half and use it as a convenient placement on the table for an extra pop of colour
4. Cheer up the bathroom with a bright really useful bag full of all those little essentials on the edge of the bath- don't worry if the cat knocks it in the bag is washable!
5. Keep the dog walking kit neatly stored in a colourful really useful bag on the radiator shelf by the front door all ready to pop in your coat pocket/ bag on the way out
