UmmPixies is set up and ready to open at the Country Living Christmas Fair 2022, London tomorrow.
I have spent months wondering whether I made the right call to take part in the Country Living Christmas Fair this year. It is a HUGE investment of time and funds and an unbelievable amount of work to get ready for the 5 day event.
I have been a customer many times but have never taken part before. Despite my many years as a professional event manager it has taken months of work to get ready and I have had an enormous amount of support and advice from my lovely family and friends. My cousin who has been amazing at the signs, my mum who labelled boxes of oven gloves and tea towels for me, my dad who has chopped up bits of wood and driven my ludicrous quantities of stuff all over the place, the pixies who have been way more helpful than I would have predicted and have graciously cooked on the umpteen occasions I've lost track of time in the run up to being here and my many other relatives and friends who have encouraged me and listened to my vacillating thoughts on it for literally months.
Fingers crossed it will all be worth it by the time I have my feet up with a glass of sherry and a mince pie (or few) on Sunday night.
