Spooky season is upon us - pumpkin pie or pumpkin spiced latte?

whether you like your pumpkin in a mug, in a pie or simply as decoration October is the perfect time to bring a little pumpkin orange into your life.

At UmmPixies HQ we have wheelbarrow loads of actual pumpkins thanks to PaPaPixie and his allotment endeavours. And of course October is when the Cats come into their own, our familiars Solo & Zac the real life monochrome moggies like to sit at the windows (as close to the radiators as they can get as soon as the heating starts coming on again) and their counterparts in kitchen textiles get rolled out to decorate the oven door for the season.

We're not much into Trick or Treating - when I was a child it was more apple bobbing than trick or treating at this time of year but we never say no to an excuse to watch a few scary movies
